Horizon Heritage Farm is a 38 acre Certified Organic Farm located at 2980 Grafton Avenue, Qualicum Beach, BC. Jacqueline Cormier and Warren Leclerc the owners/operators have been operating this farm for over 25 years under organic conditions and became Certified Organic in 2000. They are currently offering lamb meat which is absolutely delicious and tender. People can buy a sampler box of roasts, chops, and stew meat for $125.00 or they can have them custom cut a whole lamb according to their preferences for $250-$300. We will be harvesting in November, December, and January. The lambs are raised on Certified Organic pasture and non-medicated feed yet they are not in the Certified Organic Program. If people are interested in mutton, we have delicious mutton which tastes as good as lamb. The mutton is larger and less expensive per pound.
